My lip liner doesn’t last all day — what am I doing wrong?

To get that all-day hold, it’s all about how you apply:

Step 1 – SET:

Apply a thick, even layer of the peel-off stain to clean, dry lips.

(No lip balm or gloss underneath — it can block the stain from absorbing properly.)

Step 2 – WAIT:

Let it dry completely for 10–20 minutes.

Don’t rush this part — the longer it sets, the stronger the stain.

Step 3 – PEEL:

Once it’s dry to the touch, gently peel off the film from the corners.

Step 4 – SEAL (optional):

Want that glazed lip look? Add a clear gloss or nourishing balm after peeling.

Pro tip:

If your lips were oily, had leftover balm, or you didn’t wait long enough before peeling, the stain won’t grip well.

How do I remove the lip stain — or fix a mistake?

Before it dries:

If you slip up during application, no worries — just use a cotton swab with makeup remover or micellar water to clean the edges.

Do this before it fully dries and sets.

After it sets:

Once it’s dried and peeled, the stain itself will naturally fade over 8–12 hours.

But if you want to remove it sooner, gently exfoliate with a lip scrub or use an oil-based makeup remover to lift the pigment.

Can I wear lip gloss or balm on top?

Yes, absolutely — after peeling.

Once your stain has set, you can layer a gloss or lip oil without affecting the color. (In fact, we recommend it for a juicy finish.)
